Testimonials
"I've known Gracyn since 2005 when I worked with her on This Old House. Gracyn helped us design some of the interior spaces for our 25th Anniversary project in Carlisle, MA; one of our most important and high profile renovations in the show's history. Her work on that project was deservedly recognized by The Boston Globe, but more importantly, she impressed our entire team and we'd be happy to have her back any time. Her work and talents speak for themselves."
— Kevin O'Connor, Host, This Old House
"Siemasko + Verbridge has worked with Gracyn on two very successful residential renovation projects. In each case she was a welcome addition and slid contributor to the team. Gracyn was able to amplify and enhance our architectural concepts with tasteful and thoughtful furniture and furnishing selections. She brings an open mind and spirited approach to projects making her fun to work with."
— Thaddeus S. Siemasko, AIA, SV Design
"I have worked with Gracyn on a range of projects, from quite traditional to contemporary in design. Her ideas are thoughtful and imaginative, and her ability to manage the interior design process, from sourcing to installation, has made our collaboration especially valuable."
— David Mehlin, AIA, Mehlin Architects
"Gracyn worked for Houlihan/Lawrence Inc., which is the largest residential real estate company in Westchester, Putnam and Duchess counties, along with Fairfield County, CT. During the time Gracyn served as the Director of Design for our firm, she redesigned 24 branch offices over a, aggressive, three year time span. Gracyn was in charge of creating a unified, sleek, and upscale look to our various office branch locations. Each office varied a little from township to township, with different zoning and building permit laws, and Gracyn was able to manage the expectations of not only the general contractors on the job to satisfaction, but also met our needs in meeting deadlines and budgets, on time."
— Nancy Seaman, CEO, Houlihan/Lawrence, Inc.
“During the time Gracyn was with Environments at Work, she worked as an active team member on our Major Accounts furniture sales team, which services a variety of businesses and architecture firms located in the Boston area, as well as assisting national and global accounts. Gracyn was a team player in helping to organize the pricing, related conceptual imagery, Excel spreadsheets, and furniture plan counts for a number of bids. Gracyn was a consistently diligent worker who has integrity, is trustworthy, showed a desire to be an effective member of our sales team, while successfully expanding beyond her design acumen into the field of office furniture sales.”
— Ken Patrick, CEO, Environments at Work, Boston, MA
“Gracyn assisted our internal athenahealth team on the deliberation and preparation of our Point Lookout Master Plan. Point Lookout, is a 384-acre resort located in Northport, ME, owned by athenahealth. Through weekly meetings and thoughtful discourse, Gracyn compartmentalized those areas needing focus, with regards to housing improvement, pedestrian flow, landscape zoning, and FFE conceptual development; while also being able to share her ideas rapidly each week with integral team players. Gracyn executed an organic, all-mountain rendering used in helping to identify those areas on the mountain most prominent for facilities enhancement, and looked closely at pedestrian and vehicular flows to better serve the client. Gracyn would be a valuable addition to any team and demonstrated her intellectual curiosity about our unique property and community.”
